Данная статья призвана показать основную задачу технологии Workfl ow с точки зрения организации бизнес-системы, а именно: отделение правил выполнения бизнес-процессов от прикладных систем
и систем управления базами данных, что обеспечивает принципиально большую гибкость и адаптируемость информационной системы. Иными словами, технология Workfl ow предоставляет возможность оперативной модификации правил выполнения бизнес-процессов без перестройки прикладного
программного обеспечения и/или изменения структуры корпоративной базы данных.
Также важным направлением использования технологии Workfl ow служит интеграция различных
приложений и данных вокруг бизнес-процесса. В этом отношении Workfl ow можно рассматривать как
определенный шаг в развитии архитектуры открытых систем. Стандарты, разработанные WfMC,
подтверждают эффективность и результативность усилий, нацеленных на развитие этого направления.
Значимость данной работы состоит в том, что предложенная технология состоит в определении, выполнении и управлении многими рабочими процессами организации, а предыдущие решения позволяли достаточно эффективно автоматизировать только отдельные операции или функции
Short description:
This article is called to show the basic task of Workfl ow technology from the point of business-system
management view, notably the separation of business process execution rules from applied systems and systems
of data base control, which ensures great fl exibility and adaptability of information system.
In other words, Workfl ow technology allows fast modifi cation of business process execution rules without
reconstruction of applied software and/or changes in the structure of corporate data base.
Also as the important direction of Workfl ow application is the integration of different applications and
data about business process. In this case Workfl ow can be considered as specifi c step in development of open
systems’ architecture.
The standards developed by WfMC confi rm the effectiveness and result of the efforts aimed to elaborate
this direction.
The signifi cance of this work lies in the fact that proposed technology consists of the defi nition, execution and
control of many working processes of organization, and the previous solutions made it possible to suffi ciently
automate only separate operations or functions.
