The article investigates the status of the object
of law. On the basis of the study of existing in the
legal science the theoretical concepts, the author
shows the modern development of this legal institution.
The generalization of the results of the formal
and legal analysis of the defi nitions of “status”,
“the status of subject of law”, “the status of object
of law” revealed a number of new approaches to
understanding the essence of the legal institution.
